The evil Count Brahzen seeks the Spirit of Roshufa, an ancient relic that can be used to revive a powerful weapon. He invades the Kingdom of Zidane in search of it but King Fahrenheit II was able to hold back his demonic forces. The king tasks the warrior Leon with securing it before the evil Count is able to do so. Upon release, many reviewers commented on the high difficulty but would also praise it?s arcade-like graphics, massive bosses, and thematic music that kept the game fresh.

Undeadline is a vertically scrolling shooter game that was directed and designed by Tokihiro Naito while Tetsura Yamamoto was the main programmer. T&E pushed their playtesters to their limits and would cover the screen with a paper with a hole in the middle so only a portion of the playfield was visible which increased the tester?s skills and made the developers increase the difficulty to keep up with them. Players need to venture through six base stages and a final stage while collecting weapon and spell upgrades to defeat massive monsters and save the kingdom.
