Despite the fact that Episode I had never been released in Europe, Sony and Namco released the Xenosaga series in Europe starting with the second episode. To explain the events prior, the title was released in this special Collectors Limited Edition box that contains a 3-hour DVD featuring the cut-scenes from the first game.
