A TV team from the United States arrives to investigate and film a wandering story about Hanuda, the missing city where human sacrifices are said to have taken place.
Hanuda is a dark, terrifying world that froze to ice in the 1970s and is surrounded by a red sea. An old curse has been thrown at the city and you as a visitor must save the remaining inhabitants including the beautiful Miyako. To survive, you must defend yourself against the evil Shibito - the living dead - and other fearsome monsters.
During the game you will play as each of the visitors in the village. The games unique Sight-Jack system makes it possible to easily switch between the point of view of the hunted and the hunter. Blood, intestines and blisters are enhanced by stunning graphic effects, an advanced physics gene and shockingly realistic facial animations.

Efter att ha spelat igenom det som jag anser är det läskigaste spelet genom tiderna; Fatal Frame, så kunde jag inte få nog av skräckspel och ville ta mig an en ny serie. Denna gång blev det Siren. Jag spelade igenom spelet till Playstation 2 för att sedan ta mig igenom Siren: Blood Curse till Playstation 3.
Historien utspelar sig den tredje augusti år 2007. En amerikanskt tv-besättning som är i Japan för att undersöka legenden om den försvinnande byn Hanuda, där det sägs att människor ska ha offrats för 30 år sedan.
