Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is packed with innovative features, such as a psychological profile that will record the way the player approaches the game, which will cause the game itself to change according to this information. Players begin by answering various questions from a psychiatrist, and these answers together with their reactions to the game result in their individual psychological profile, which will affect the different situations of the game. The player guides Harry Mason, who tries to unravel the mystery of Cheryl, his missing sister. The game will observe the player and adapt to him according to the psychological profile. The result is a clever twist on the terrifying moments of the game, depending on the actions and attitude of the user.

Du behöver inte ha spelat något av de andra Silent Hill spelen för att kunna tycka om det här spelet men jag tror att det här är mest ett spel för tidigare Silent Hill-fanatiker.
Tyvärr blev jag riktigt frustrerad när jag spelade det här spelet. Framförallt blev jag det då man behövde springa ifrån folk. Kartorna är helt urusla och mesta delen av spelet spenderas med att man går runt med en flicklampa och letar efter ledtrådar.
Det här spelet kunde ha varit så mycket mer men tyvärr är det alldeles för repetitivt.
