In Yakuza 2, players are once again immersed in the Japanese underworld. Players will take on the role of Kazuma Kiryu from the original Yakuza and explore Osaka and Tokyo to delve deeper into the ongoing mystery in 16 complex cinematic chapters. Endless conflicts and violent clashes with rival gangs, the police and the Korean mafia throw players into a dark shadow world, where the strongest will survive.

Players have to prove themselves in a vibrant world that looks like the real Yakuza. Players enter the authentic neon-lit underworld of Tokyo and Osaka. They will become regular visitors to night clubs, brothels, restaurants and shops, accessing secret services and tips.

With experience points that can be earned during battles, players can become stronger, or improve their stamina and fighting techniques.
