Developed in collaboration with Pendulo Studios and YS Interactive, Blacksad: Under the Skin is an adventure game based on the Blacksad comics by Juan Diaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido. Blacksad: Under the Skin, set in the atmosphere of black-and-white private detective films, is set in 1950s New York and tells a fascinating crime story through personal characters.

At the heart of the story, along with private detective John Blacksad, are a number of suspicious characters and their fates. Boxing club owner Joe Dunn is found dead. At the same time, the rising boxing star, Bobby Yale, is facing perhaps the most significant match of his life. However, he mysteriously disappears. Rivers daughter Sonia Dunn takes over the hall and takes care of its debts. At the same time, he hires John Blacksad to investigate Yale’s disappearance.

The animal-derived characters from the Blacksad comics create an original and fascinating atmosphere for the game. Combined with a 1950s American private detective story, the end result is a powerful game package that brings the characters familiar from the comics to life in an impressive way. At the same time, the player is given the opportunity to influence the development of the story and the relationships between the different characters with their own choices.
