Gamers resurrect a dilapidated farm, become a part of the local community, and form relationships with NPCs in the independently developed Stardew Valley. Players create their own character and then head to the titular valley, where their grandfather once owned a small farm. After clearing out the overgrown bushes and fallen trees they can plant crops, raise animals, start an orchard, mine for valuable minerals, craft machines, and go fishing. There are more than 30 NPCs living in Stardew Valley, each with unique daily routines, and gamers can also meet and woo ten potential spouses.

Players will improve their skills in combat, farming, fishing, foraging, and mining over time, all the while learning more than 100 new cooking recipes and items to craft. A mysterious nearby cave contains powerful weapons, precious materials, rare artifacts, and dangerous monsters, and gamers can choose to upgrade Stardew Valleys rundown community center and join, or fight, the Joja Corporation. This Collectors edition includes a game disc, a soundtrack, a mini guidebook, and a map of Pelican Town.
